Psychology in schools

Educational psychology has a vital role to play in supporting school children, staff and the wider community of parents.  Would you like to work in partnership with a psychologist who can be entirely focused on your goals, who can on work with your issues as soon as they arise?

I am an educational psychologist with extensive experience of assessment, collaborative, therapeutic, advisory and systems work.  I am also a psychologist who, as well as many years experience running a large educational psychology service, has over 3000 hours of direct work with clients.

Traditionally, such specialist psychological services have only been available when problems have become complex, whilst logic tells us it would better to also use specialist services in more preventative and early intervention ways. That is why I began my own practice as a psychologist. My aim is to support and work with staff and children, parents and school leaders, applying psychology to make a difference to issues regarding individuals, groups and organizations as whole- and to do all of this as early as possible, using approaches from the leading edge of evidence based psychology.

The 4 keys way of working detailed on the links to the right, are umbrella terms for the range of ways of working I can offer.  What cuts across these various approaches is a wealth of experience and a commitment to providing schools with a collaborative approach that places their goals at the heart of the work. Why browse this website and take note of the quality of the references I can provide and the clarity over the ways in which I work.

I am happy to receive any inquiries regarding the possible services I can provide. In fact, specialist psychological support is only a phone call away.
